Please see the below information to assist you with flooding within Chadds Ford Township. US Geological Survey Gage Height Info...this link will show you several gages along the Brandywine and the water level. In Chadds Ford the average gage height is 1-1/2 to 3 feet. Flood Stage is 9 Feet. Creek Road and Ring Road often flood with just 4 or 5 feet of water. If the Brandywine Creek reaches Flood Stage and Baltimore Pike is closed, please use the detour route on the attached map.
