Mehring Subdivision

Although Mr. Mehring was not present, Mr. Todd explained that he and Mr. Taylor had discussed Mr. Mehring’s sketch plan at the last Planning Commission Workshop.  Mr. Mehring has sketch plans for his 32-acre property showing both a nine-lot or four-lot subdivision.  There are some variance issues.  His purpose is to provide lots for his children without having to spend a large amount of money on improvements to the site.  In order to preserve vistas, old buildings, open space, with decreased density and minimal intrusion, it was the Planning Commission’s opinion that Mr. Mehring should be encouraged to consider the four-lot subdivision with Deed restrictions for the future.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 P.M.
