July 25, 2001

The Planning Commission of Chadds Ford Township met in the Township Building on Wednesday, July 25, 2001. The meeting was called to order at 7:35 P.M. Present were William Taylor, Maurice Todd, James Reamer and Fred Reiter. Also present was Keith Lieberman of Kelly Engineers.

Minutes

Mr. Reamer motioned, Mr. Todd seconded, and the Planning Commission approved the Minutes of the June 27, 2001, meeting.

Public Comment - none

Zukin Bunch Auction House

Representing this Applicant, Jeff Nagorny of Brandywine Valley Engineers led the discussion of outstanding items in Kelly Engineers’ July 23, 2001, review letter. Mr. Reiter asked whether the Fire Marshall had reviewed this plan. Mr. Nagorny advised he received a call from the Fire Marshall that day and he will review within the next few days. It was felt that a sign at the exit of this site on to Hillman Drive was necessary to direct traffic for Route 1, both north and southbound, and Route 202 northbound. Mr. Todd motioned, Mr. Reamer seconded, and the Planning Commission recommended that the Board of Supervisors approve this plan pending Fire Marshall approval; addition of the directional sign at the exit on Hillman Drive; and resolution of the remaining items in Kelly Engineers’ July 23, 2001, review letter, including Planning Module as required by DEP.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 P.M.
