Minutes – Planning Commission

March 27, 2002

The Planning Commission of Chadds Ford Township met in the Township Building on Wednesday, March 27, 2002. The meeting was called to order at 7:30pm. Present were William Taylor, Maurice Todd, and Fred Reiter. Also present was J.P. Kelly of Kelly Engineers.

Mr. Reiter moved, Mr. Todd seconded, all voted yes and the Commission approved the minutes of the February 27, 2002 meeting.

Public Comment

There was none.

Garnet VW- Larry Strom and Tom Schocklin, representing the applicant, reviewed the plans and the Township Engineer’s review letter. Mr. Todd moved, Mr. Reiter seconded, and the Planning Commission recommended that the Board of Supervisors approve this plan based upon the applicant meeting the conditions of the March 27, 2002 Engineer’s review letter.

Henderson – Lot 3 (Endo 2) – Jeff Nagorny, of Brandywine Valley Engineers, reviewed the plans. Also present were Mark Eisenhardt of Henderson and Skip Ivison of Endo Pharmaceuticals. There was no review letter from the Township Engineer on these plans; however, Mr. Kelly suggested the Commission review the plans at this meeting anyway. This review will start the MPC clock. As the timing on this project will be rather tight, Mr. Taylor suggested that the applicant return to next month’s Planning Workshop for further review of their plans before the next Planning Commission meeting. The applicant agreed to do so.

Osborne Place/Longview Builders – Jim Fritsch of Regester Associates appeared representing the applicant. Mr. Fritsch reviewed the plan and the Engineer’s review letter. After discussion of several items that needed attention in the review letter, the applicant agreed to come back to next month’s Planning Commission meeting for anticipated approval.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:30pm.
