Chadds Ford, PA
The Planning Commission of Chadds Ford Township met in the Township Building on Wednesday, December 26, 2001. The meeting was called to order at 7:40 P.M. Present were William Taylor, Maurice Todd, Donald Honig, and Fred Reiter. Also present was Keith Lieberman of Kelly Engineers.
Longview Builders – Representing this Applicant, Jim Aiken, of Regester Associates, discussed the items in Kelly Engineers’ December 21, 2001, review letter. This plan will be revised to address any outstanding engineering and any comments from the Delaware County Conservation District.
SEPTA (Brandywine Conservancy) – Timothy Barnard, Esquire, outlined that the purpose of this subdivision is to transfer ownership of a portion of SEPTA’s property to the Brandywine Conservancy. This plan will be revised showing that the rights-of-way for both Hoffman’s Mill Road and Stationway Road are approximations and showing the five foot strip that SEPTA is keeping as part of the right-of-way . Deeds of Consolidation are being drafted.
Brandywine Conservancy Land Development – Representing the Conservancy, Timothy Barnard, Esquire, explained that a plan has been prepared addressing the December 19, 2001, comments of the Delaware County Conservation District; however, they are awaiting confirmation that no permit will be required. The Delaware County Planning Department recommended approval of this plan. The Township’s Historic and Architectural Review Board approved the plan with two copulas on the barn building. The outstanding items in Kelly Engineers’ December 21, 2001, review letter were discussed. This plan will be revised and resubmitted.
